weight loss meds

It was not a huge suprise to me as I am the only one in my family not taking meds for it. As soon, and I mean within 3 days, of starting my meds my weight loss came to an immediate halt. Thereafter, my weight began to slowly creep back. Here I am 10 months later, with 10 pounds I did not deserve to gain, and although I am faithful to the plan. I am 5'10" and 56 years old. I am going to get busy reading the forum to see what questions I have may have already been answered. I lost 50 pounds by May. I started Atkins eating plan in Jan. My problem is that when I went for my annual physical, the Dr. Thought I'd introduce myself. noted I had high blood pressure. ! Got a new treadmill, (I literally wore my old DP 2000 out) and again am faithful at brisk walking 3.5 mph for 45 minutes at least 5 days a week. ! I had about 15 pounds to go to my goal of 160. !! I was so excited. ...I can not seem to get the scales to budge. ..definitely an inherited disease for me. ..maybe 1 1/2 pounds every 6 weeks.
