Through my teens I ate primarily of the Little Debbie Nutty Bar and Swiss Cake Roll plan. This, supplemented with at least a gallon of Coke daily and little-to-no physical activity, helped me to gain an astounding amount of body fat and self esteem. Having no vehicle at the time, I did a lot of walking, and shed a lot pounds, although my diet did not change at all. ) Regardless of my sudden and much desired weight loss, I still was dealing with the emotional turmoil I suffered in high school. Overall, I succeeded in increasing my weight (And I mean fat, not muscle. This was 3 years ago, and several of my employees decided to begin a dieting contest where everyone was responsible for giving up 10 dollars, and the first person to lose 10% of their body weight won the pot. I figured I could lose 27 pounds faster than anyone, and claim a clean hundred dollars for my efforts. ) Although I have enjoyed my life of being more slim and fit since then, I decided a couple months ago to change my diet; I was seeing no gains in muscle mass, and no further loss of body fat.
