I guess I ll just have to sit back and enjoy the fruits of Democratic leadership. 1. Gas prices will immediately drop to 1.25 a gallon because Republicans will no longer be able to feather the nest of Big Oil with obscene profits. 2. Cars to run immediately on Hydrogen, corn syrup and refried beans, because Republicans will no longer be able to control the laws of physics. 3. The wage gap will become non-existent, because differences in intelligence, drive, determination, personal responsibility and common sense will be outlawed. 4. Unemployment to drop to 0% when the minimum wage increase to 22. 5. Below average student test scores will skyrocket to way above average levels, because Democrats will outlaw the Republican-invented Bell-curve. 6. The Dow will rise to 18,000 in 2007 because it s an economic fact that the best way to grow the economy is to penalize risk takers, innovators, and the industrious. 7. The price of medicine and health care will plummet, because it s a well known economic fact that when you give people free stuff, demand goes down. 8. Foreign investors will swamp the country with capital as they really don t care about the return on their investment as Republicans have led us to believe. 9. Government will control even more of our economy. Because we all know the demand for labor increases when the cost of labor increases just the opposite from what those mean-spirited Republicans say. I for one am ready to turn in my Republican voter Registration card and trade it for a Democratic one but the Democratic Bureau of Card Exchange is swamped and the waiting list for an appointment is two and a half years.
